Forest Whitaker Pen and Ink sketch and updates

Here is a sketch I did tonight in pen & Ink. Such a bold medium and it is really fun following the shapes in the directions of the planes with the lines to create value. I also wanted to show how the original changed while I was looking at it a little more. I will post more as the final is ready by Wednesday

Lars Self Portraits references

I did this for the I.S.C.A Forum at http://www.caricature.org for other artist to use for reference soo we can all draw each other! Maybe any of my followers or any one interested they can also draw me and I will draw a Caricature portrait of you? Just e-mail the final to me at my e-mail: larserarts@tampabay.rr.com

Thank You

Picking out a thumbnail for final.

I just e-mailed alot of my other class mates on schoolism.com to help pick out a thumbnail to do a final monochromatic painting from. I thought it would be a fun way to help each other out and to get to know each other a little better. I am leaning towards the 3/4 view of Tony or profile view and having it in a night blue tone to help create a more moody piece? Any comments are greatly welcomed.

Gary Value Study

This is my Value study painted in photoshop and it was off a sketch done by my Teacher Jason Seiler. References were given to create a full value study from and to learn how to look at the values within a shape. I worked right up to a minute it was due and I hope I was successful with the assignment, but I am also hoping to find improvements in my work! Please feel free to comment on the work! Thank You and goodnight

Jay Leno Caricature

Here is the finished art and thumbnails for my final Jay Leno done in pencil and water color, with a touch of gouache highlights. I am not happy with the hands on him and had to repaint, them. After I get my critique from my teacher on schoolism I will do the changes in photoshop! For the record I really enjoy the water color and how it works with my drawing style. Comments are always welcomed!
